All too often, many product teams and business divisions meet requirements without delivering expected results. The gap exists between requirements and results, between outputs and outcomes, and between solutions and benefits. This team identifies the customer value by conducting research and building strategy to address the large industry questions before the business divisions can ask them. The results are used for competitive analysis and to increase the likelihood of project success.
Through my collaboration with this team, I have been helping to achieve the intended foundational outcomes of roadmap initiatives. My contributions have included remote user research, competitive teardowns, literature reviews, cognitive walkthroughs, UX training workshops, building customer journies, and helping teams move toward building valuable experiences.
